1. acceptance of terms

by using iz, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. service description

iz is an app where you can leave memories at places through photos, videos, writing, music and books, and discover traces left by others. you can keep your traces as “only me” or share them with “everyone”. a shared trace’s location and content may reveal where you have been; iz does not guarantee anonymity or that your location will remain private.

3. user accounts

• you must be at least 18 years old to use iz
• you're responsible for your account security
• one account per person

4. content guidelines

when creating traces, you agree not to post:

• illegal content
• harassment or hate speech
• personal information of others
• spam or commercial content
• explicit or violent content

iz has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. reported content is hidden immediately for the reporting user. every report is reviewed within 24 hours; violating content is removed and serious or repeat offenders are ejected from the service. users can also block other users at any time.

5. intellectual property

• you own the content you create
• you grant iz a license to display your content
• iz branding and code are our property

6. trace visibility and retention

who can discover your traces depends on your chosen visibility and the app’s access rules. traces are not currently subject to automatic fading or 30-day deletion based on age or time without reads.

7. termination

we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. you can delete your account anytime from settings.

8. disclaimer

iz is provided "as is" without warranties. we're not responsible for user-generated content or service interruptions.

9. changes

we may update these terms. continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
