On public marketing pages, we use Microsoft Clarity only after you accept analytics under the updated notice. Microsoft processes clicks, scrolling, device/browser information and masked session replays to help improve the site. Replays do not record your camera or microphone. Account, chat, private trace and administration pages are excluded. Form contents are masked and advertising data sharing is not enabled.

If you decline, Clarity does not load. Previous general analytics consent does not authorize Clarity. You can change your choice using “cookie preferences” in the footer; withdrawing consent stops recording and reloads the page. The provider's default session recording retention is 30 days; saved recordings and aggregate reports may have different retention periods. 1. information we collect

iz collects minimal data necessary to provide our service:

• location data: your current location is used to show nearby traces, verify where a trace is left and, when enabled, evaluate “share after leaving”. the location where a trace is left is stored with the trace record. for a pending share, the starting location and limited verification measurements are stored temporarily and cleared when publication, conversion to “only me” or cancellation completes. a pending record expires after 24 hours without being published; expired measurements are removed by the server’s cleanup process.
• account info: email address for authentication
• content: traces you create (text and optional photos)
• usage data: app interactions for service improvement
• analytics data: with consent, page/screen views, feature interactions, store-link clicks, and technical performance events. message content, precise sensitive location, and direct identifiers are not sent as analytics events.

3. data sharing

we do not sell your personal data. we may share data with:

• service providers: hosting, notifications and consented analytics (supabase, expo, google analytics and firebase analytics)
• legal requirements: when required by law

4. data retention

• traces are not currently subject to automatic 30-day deletion based on age or time without reads.
• account data kept until you delete your account
• you can request full data deletion anytime

6. security

we use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure connections, and regular security audits.

7. analytics and cookie choices

on the website, Google Analytics loads only after you choose “accept”. If you reject, analytics storage is not enabled. You can change your choice through cookie preferences or by clearing site data.
